Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Banking, Telecoms and Household sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite lost 0.20%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Hellenic Telecommunications Organization SA (AT:OTEr), which rose 3.44% or 0.49 points to trade at 14.72 at the close. Meanwhile, Alumil (AT:ALMr) added 2.20% or 0.07 points to end at 3.02 and Elton S.A. (AT:ELNr) was up 2.12% or 0.04 points to 1.74 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Eurobank Ergasias SA (AT:EURBr), which fell 5.48% or 0.12 points to trade at 2.05 at the close. Ideal Group SA (AT:IDEr) declined 2.64% or 0.16 points to end at 5.91 and Domiki Kritis SA (AT:DKRr) was down 2.50% or 0.10 points to 3.70.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 66 to 36 and 33 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for August delivery was down 2.05% or 49.60 to $2,366.10 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 0.48% or 0.37 to hit $77.22 a barrel, while the September Brent oil contract fell 0.80% or 0.65 to trade at $81.06 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.14% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.32% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 104.01.
