Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Banking, Telecoms and Household sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite fell 0.20% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Lamda Develop (AT:LMDr), which rose 3.38% or 0.22 points to trade at 6.72 at the close. Meanwhile, Intrakat Technikon Kai Energeiakon Ergon AE (AT:INCr) added 2.83% or 0.14 points to end at 5.08 and Ideal Group SA (AT:IDEr) was up 2.33% or 0.13 points to 5.71 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Iktinos Hellas (AT:IKTr), which fell 3.07% or 0.01 points to trade at 0.35 at the close. Fourlis Hld (AT:FRLr) declined 2.56% or 0.10 points to end at 3.80 and Profile Syst (AT:PRFr) was down 2.39% or 0.11 points to 4.49.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 62 to 49 and 26 ended unchanged.
Shares in Iktinos Hellas (AT:IKTr) fell to 5-year lows; losing 3.07% or 0.01 to 0.35. Shares in Fourlis Hld (AT:FRLr) fell to 52-week lows; falling 2.56% or 0.10 to 3.80.
Gold Futures for August delivery was down 0.47% or 11.00 to $2,338.10 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in August rose 0.86% or 0.67 to hit $78.72 a barrel, while the August Brent oil contract rose 0.76% or 0.63 to trade at $83.25 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.14% to 1.07, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.17% to 0.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 105.17.
