Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Technology, Healthcare and Food sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite declined 0.19%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Revoil Petrol (AT:REVr), which rose 8.33% or 0.050 points to trade at 0.650 at the close. Meanwhile, ThesKi Port (AT:OLTr) added 2.41% or 0.70 points to end at 29.70 and Piraeus Port (AT:OLPr) was up 1.71% or 0.28 points to 16.68 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Attica Bank SA (AT:BOAr), which fell 4.19% or 0.001 points to trade at 0.030 at the close. Elton S.A. (AT:ELNr) declined 4.17% or 0.065 points to end at 1.495 and Selonda Aquaculture SA (AT:SELr) was down 3.98% or 0.0090 points to 0.2150.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 70 to 39 and 16 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for April delivery was down 1.00% or 13.30 to $1319.50 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in April fell 0.66% or 0.42 to hit $63.49 a barrel, while the May Brent oil contract fell 0.36% or 0.24 to trade at $67.05 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.60% to 1.2243, while EUR/GBP fell 0.07% to 0.8814.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.57% at 90.28.
