Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Telecoms, Household and Basic Resources sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite fell 0.17%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Lamda Develop (AT:LMDr), which rose 2.67% or 0.20 points to trade at 7.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Biokarpet Industrial and Commercial Enterprises SA (AT:ALBr) added 1.53% or 0.03 points to end at 1.66 and Gr Sarantis SA (AT:SRSr) was up 1.50% or 0.16 points to 10.82 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Iktinos Hellas (AT:IKTr), which fell 4.40% or 0.01 points to trade at 0.30 at the close. Dimand Societe Anonyme for Real Estate Constructions (AT:DIMANDr) declined 3.27% or 0.31 points to end at 9.18 and Intrakat Technikon Kai Energeiakon Ergon AE (AT:INCr) was down 2.76% or 0.14 points to 4.76.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 75 to 44 and 23 ended unchanged.
Shares in Lamda Develop (AT:LMDr) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 2.67% or 0.20 to 7.70. Shares in Iktinos Hellas (AT:IKTr) fell to 5-year lows; down 4.40% or 0.01 to 0.30.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.86% or 22.90 to $2,643.10 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 4.47% or 3.45 to hit $73.69 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract fell 4.35% or 3.52 to trade at $77.41 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.05% to 1.10, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.10% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 102.34.
