Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Chemicals and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite fell 0.16%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Greek Organisation of Football Prognostics SA (AT:OPAr), which rose 3.61% or 0.350 points to trade at 10.050 at the close. Meanwhile, Thrace Plastic (AT:THRr) added 2.63% or 0.060 points to end at 2.340 and Euro Reliance (AT:EREr) was up 2.35% or 0.080 points to 3.480 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Centric Hold (AT:DESr), which fell 8.92% or 0.014 points to trade at 0.143 at the close. Hygeia (AT:HYGr) declined 5.11% or 0.018 points to end at 0.334 and Lamda Develop (AT:LMDr) was down 4.44% or 0.250 points to 5.380.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 63 to 37 and 13 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.32% or 4.10 to $1278.80 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 0.75% or 0.42 to hit $55.28 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract fell 0.77% or 0.48 to trade at $61.73 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.02% to 1.1795, while EUR/GBP fell 0.01% to 0.8961.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 93.76.
