Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Technology, Retail and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite fell 0.12%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Selonda Aquaculture SA (AT:SELr), which rose 6.63% or 0.0110 points to trade at 0.1770 at the close. Meanwhile, Centric Hold (AT:DESr) added 6.62% or 0.009 points to end at 0.147 and Korres (AT:KRRr) was up 3.94% or 0.200 points to 5.080 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Flexopack SA (AT:FLXr), which fell 5.04% or 0.3500 points to trade at 6.6000 at the close. Public Power (AT:DEHr) declined 3.80% or 0.09 points to end at 2.28 and Intralot (AT:INLr) was down 3.49% or 0.032 points to 0.884.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 60 to 50 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in Korres (AT:KRRr) rose to 5-year highs; up 3.94% or 0.200 to 5.080.
Gold Futures for June delivery was up 0.34% or 4.50 to $1317.50 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in June fell 0.22% or 0.16 to hit $70.98 a barrel, while the July Brent oil contract fell 0.23% or 0.18 to trade at $77.03 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.31% to 1.1887, while EUR/GBP rose 0.71% to 0.8810.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.17% at 92.79.
