Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Banking, Chemicals and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite lost 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Autohellas (AT:AUTr), which rose 3.20% or 0.73 points to trade at 23.31 at the close. Meanwhile, Papoutsanis (AT:PSALr) added 2.77% or 0.007 points to end at 0.260 and MLS Multimedia (AT:MLSr) was up 2.31% or 0.100 points to 4.420 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Flexopack SA (AT:FLXr), which fell 6.31% or 0.3100 points to trade at 4.6000 at the close. Techn Olympic (AT:OLYr) declined 5.29% or 0.090 points to end at 1.610 and Centric Hold (AT:DESr) was down 5.06% or 0.008 points to 0.150.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 52 to 47 and 16 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.39% or 4.92 to $1274.12 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 1.08% or 0.60 to hit $56.24 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract rose 1.56% or 0.97 to trade at $63.04 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.16% to 1.1587, while EUR/GBP fell 0.52% to 0.8831.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 94.88.
