Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Basic Resources and Banking sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite lost 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Halcor (AT:XAKO), which rose 8.90% or 0.125 points to trade at 1.530 at the close. Meanwhile, Profile Syst (AT:PRFr) added 4.92% or 0.036 points to end at 0.768 and Kri-Kri Milk (AT:KRIr) was up 4.90% or 0.150 points to 3.210 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Select Textile (AT:EPIr), which fell 6.28% or 0.012 points to trade at 0.179 at the close. Centric Hold (AT:DESr) declined 3.27% or 0.005 points to end at 0.148 and Hygeia (AT:HYGr) was down 2.59% or 0.015 points to 0.565.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 69 to 48 and 9 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for February delivery was up 0.13% or 1.70 to $1317.80 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in February rose 1.61% or 0.97 to hit $61.34 a barrel, while the March Brent oil contract rose 1.28% or 0.85 to trade at $67.42 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.28% to 1.2024, while EUR/GBP rose 0.27% to 0.8897.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 91.83.
