Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Retail, Household and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite declined 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Revoil Petrol (AT:REVr), which rose 10.00% or 0.056 points to trade at 0.616 at the close. Meanwhile, Select Textile (AT:EPIr) added 7.14% or 0.011 points to end at 0.165 and Iktinos Hellas (AT:IKTr) was up 4.62% or 0.0900 points to 2.0400 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were MLS Multimedia (AT:MLSr), which fell 1.82% or 0.080 points to trade at 4.320 at the close. Athens Water (AT:EYDr) declined 1.49% or 0.09 points to end at 5.94 and Folli Follie (AT:HDFr) was down 1.31% or 0.23 points to 17.27.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 49 to 47 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Iktinos Hellas (AT:IKTr) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 4.62% or 0.0900 to 2.0400. Shares in Folli Follie (AT:HDFr) fell to 52-week lows; falling 1.31% or 0.23 to 17.27.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.74% or 9.52 to $1268.58 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 0.29% or 0.16 to hit $54.70 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract rose 0.49% or 0.30 to trade at $60.92 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.39% to 1.1612, while EUR/GBP fell 0.48% to 0.8884.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 94.85.
