Investing.com – Greece stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Industrials sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite gained 1.12%.

The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Athens Medical (AT:AMCr), which rose 8.57% or 0.120 points to trade at 1.530 at the close. Meanwhile, Elvalhalcor Hellenic Copper and Aluminium Industry SA (AT:ELHA) added 7.27% or 0.120 points to end at 1.770 and Profile Syst (AT:PRFr) was up 6.90% or 0.070 points to 1.085 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Select Textile (AT:EPIr), which fell 5.56% or 0.014 points to trade at 0.238 at the close. Euro Reliance (AT:EREr) declined 3.10% or 0.110 points to end at 3.440 and AS Company SA (AT:ASCr) was down 2.68% or 0.060 points to 2.180.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 81 to 29 and 17 ended unchanged.

Shares in Profile Syst (AT:PRFr) rose to 3-years highs; rising 6.90% or 0.070 to 1.085.

Gold Futures for April delivery was down 0.36% or 4.80 to $1319.20 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in April fell 1.69% or 1.05 to hit $60.99 a barrel, while the May Brent oil contract fell 1.42% or 0.93 to trade at $64.56 a barrel.

EUR/USD was up 0.12% to 1.2323, while EUR/GBP fell 0.17% to 0.8866.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 89.98.
