Investing.com – Greece stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Retail, Banking and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite gained 0.89%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Folli Follie (AT:HDFr), which rose 13.70% or 1.03 points to trade at 8.55 at the close. Meanwhile, Papoutsanis (AT:PSALr) added 7.33% or 0.028 points to end at 0.410 and Alpha Bank SA (AT:ACBr) was up 6.54% or 0.134 points to 2.182 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Intralot (AT:INLr), which fell 10.20% or 0.100 points to trade at 0.880 at the close. Centric Hold (AT:DESr) declined 6.90% or 0.010 points to end at 0.135 and Selonda Aquaculture SA (AT:SELr) was down 5.59% or 0.0095 points to 0.1600.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 63 to 49 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Intralot (AT:INLr) fell to 52-week lows; losing 10.20% or 0.100 to 0.880.
Gold Futures for June delivery was down 0.47% or 6.20 to $1307.90 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in June fell 3.42% or 2.42 to hit $68.31 a barrel, while the July Brent oil contract fell 2.90% or 2.21 to trade at $73.96 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.55% to 1.1857, while EUR/GBP fell 0.18% to 0.8779.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.44% at 93.02.
