Investing.com – Greece stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Banking, Household and Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite gained 0.87%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Halcor (AT:XAKO), which rose 9.83% or 0.170 points to trade at 1.900 at the close. Meanwhile, Profile Syst (AT:PRFr) added 8.43% or 0.076 points to end at 0.978 and Selonda Aquaculture SA (AT:SELr) was up 6.61% or 0.0150 points to 0.2420 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Intracom Hold (AT:INRr), which fell 1.61% or 0.015 points to trade at 0.917 at the close. Papoutsanis (AT:PSALr) declined 1.54% or 0.006 points to end at 0.384 and Lamda Develop (AT:LMDr) was down 1.39% or 0.100 points to 7.100.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 75 to 47 and 11 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for April delivery was up 0.21% or 2.80 to $1345.90 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in March rose 0.97% or 0.63 to hit $65.36 a barrel, while the April Brent oil contract rose 0.49% or 0.34 to trade at $69.23 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.56% to 1.2482, while EUR/GBP rose 0.29% to 0.8772.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.36% at 88.63.
