Investing.com – Greece stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Technology, Industrials and Household sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite added 0.74%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Intracom Constructions Technical and Steel Constructions SA (AT:INCr), which rose 24.03% or 0.310 points to trade at 1.600 at the close. Meanwhile, Nireus Aqua (AT:NIRr) added 10.17% or 0.018 points to end at 0.190 and Intracom Hold (AT:INRr) was up 9.24% or 0.057 points to 0.674 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Intercontinental International Real Estate Investment Company SA (AT:ICIr), which fell 2.86% or 0.150 points to trade at 5.100 at the close. Athens Medical (AT:AMCr) declined 2.29% or 0.030 points to end at 1.280 and Elastron SA (AT:ELSRr) was down 1.44% or 0.0200 points to 1.3700.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 71 to 33 and 10 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.38% or 4.60 to $1209.80 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 1.02% or 0.70 to hit $69.23 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract rose 0.77% or 0.59 to trade at $76.88 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.01% to 1.1695, while EUR/GBP fell 0.86% to 0.9008.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 94.61.
