Investing.com – Greece stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Construction, Travel and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite rose 0.65%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Intralot (AT:INLr), which rose 3.89% or 0.04 points to trade at 1.02 at the close. Meanwhile, Biokarpet Industrial and Commercial Enterprises SA (AT:ALBr) added 3.63% or 0.06 points to end at 1.72 and Intracom Holdings SA (AT:INRr) was up 3.15% or 0.09 points to 2.79 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Gr Sarantis SA (AT:SRSr), which fell 1.27% or 0.14 points to trade at 10.86 at the close. Holding Company ADMIE IPTO SA (AT:ADMr) declined 1.27% or 0.03 points to end at 2.33 and Domiki Kritis SA (AT:DKRr) was down 1.15% or 0.03 points to 2.59.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 66 to 42 and 26 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.14% or 3.90 to $2,750.10 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 1.18% or 0.84 to hit $72.31 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract rose 1.08% or 0.81 to trade at $75.89 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.26% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.15% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.23% at 103.55.
