Investing.com – Greece stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Technology, Banking and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite rose 0.58%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Intralot (AT:INLr), which rose 10.10% or 0.059 points to trade at 0.643 at the close. Meanwhile, Kri-Kri Milk (AT:KRIr) added 7.96% or 0.320 points to end at 4.340 and Eurobank Ergasias SA (AT:EURBr) was up 6.19% or 0.0385 points to 0.6600 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Karatzi (AT:KRTr), which fell 2.92% or 0.200 points to trade at 6.650 at the close. ThesKi Port (AT:OLTr) declined 2.83% or 0.70 points to end at 24.00 and Thrace Plastic (AT:THRr) was down 2.27% or 0.050 points to 2.150.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 60 to 40 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in Kri-Kri Milk (AT:KRIr) rose to all time highs; gaining 7.96% or 0.320 to 4.340.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.16% or 1.90 to $1203.90 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 1.19% or 0.82 to hit $69.50 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract rose 1.04% or 0.81 to trade at $78.86 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.07% to 1.1691, while EUR/GBP rose 0.11% to 0.8890.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 94.09.
