Investing.com – Greece stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Technology, Financials and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite added 0.58%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Profile Syst (AT:PRFr), which rose 9.66% or 0.140 points to trade at 1.590 at the close. Meanwhile, Intracom Hold (AT:INRr) added 8.89% or 0.064 points to end at 0.784 and Techn Olympic (AT:OLYr) was up 4.67% or 0.100 points to 2.240 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Folli Follie (AT:HDFr), which fell 8.59% or 0.78 points to trade at 8.30 at the close. Papoutsanis (AT:PSALr) declined 5.50% or 0.023 points to end at 0.395 and Korres (AT:KRRr) was down 3.41% or 0.180 points to 5.080.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 77 to 37 and 12 ended unchanged.
Shares in Profile Syst (AT:PRFr) rose to 5-year highs; up 9.66% or 0.140 to 1.590.
Gold Futures for June delivery was up 0.03% or 0.40 to $1322.70 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in June fell 0.07% or 0.05 to hit $71.31 a barrel, while the July Brent oil contract fell 0.04% or 0.03 to trade at $77.44 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.24% to 1.1944, while EUR/GBP rose 0.01% to 0.8813.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.17% at 92.41.
