Investing.com – Greece stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Construction, Food and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite added 0.45% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Sarantiseg (AT:SRSr), which rose 8.75% or 1.15 points to trade at 14.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Elliniki Technodomiki Anemos SA (AT:ANEMr) added 7.52% or 0.120 points to end at 1.715 and Papoutsanis (AT:PSALr) was up 7.31% or 0.019 points to 0.279 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Attica Bank SA (AT:BOAr), which fell 4.11% or 0.002 points to trade at 0.035 at the close. Centric Hold (AT:DESr) declined 2.67% or 0.004 points to end at 0.146 and Selonda Aquaculture SA (AT:SELr) was down 2.43% or 0.0050 points to 0.2010.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 82 to 31 and 17 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for February delivery was down 0.11% or 1.40 to $1320.20 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in February fell 1.31% or 0.81 to hit $61.20 a barrel, while the March Brent oil contract fell 0.93% or 0.63 to trade at $67.44 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.25% to 1.2037, while EUR/GBP fell 0.36% to 0.8875.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 91.72.
