Investing.com – Greece stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Construction, Banking and Travel sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite rose 0.37%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Iktinos Hellas (AT:IKTr), which rose 2.83% or 0.01 points to trade at 0.29 at the close. Meanwhile, Techn Olympic (AT:OLYr) added 2.53% or 0.06 points to end at 2.43 and Intralot (AT:INLr) was up 2.46% or 0.03 points to 1.08 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Domiki Kritis SA (AT:DKRr), which fell 4.38% or 0.13 points to trade at 2.73 at the close. Thessaloniki Port Authority SA (AT:OLTr) declined 1.86% or 0.40 points to end at 21.10 and Jumbo SA (AT:BABr) was down 1.77% or 0.46 points to 25.48.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 71 to 55 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Domiki Kritis SA (AT:DKRr) fell to 52-week lows; losing 4.38% or 0.13 to 2.73.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 1.17% or 30.85 to $2,670.15 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 0.21% or 0.16 to hit $75.69 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract fell 0.25% or 0.20 to trade at $79.20 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.08% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.02% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 102.67.
