Investing.com – Greece stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Technology, Banking and Retail sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite gained 0.16%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Intracom Holdings SA (AT:INRr), which rose 7.36% or 0.074 points to trade at 1.080 at the close. Meanwhile, Crete Plastics SA (AT:PLAKR) added 6.92% or 0.900 points to end at 13.900 and Piraeus Bank SA (AT:BOPr) was up 6.11% or 0.119 points to 2.068 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Athens Medical (AT:AMCr), which fell 7.76% or 0.090 points to trade at 1.070 at the close. Ellaktor SA (AT:HELr) declined 5.28% or 0.086 points to end at 1.542 and Athens Water (AT:EYDr) was down 3.41% or 0.18 points to 5.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 53 to 48 and 15 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.65% or 7.80 to $1208.90 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 0.01% or 0.01 to hit $68.78 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract rose 0.31% or 0.24 to trade at $78.33 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.58% to 1.1690, while EUR/GBP rose 0.01% to 0.8894.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.45% at 94.08.
