Investing.com – Greece stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Industrials and Banking sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite rose 0.02%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Papoutsanis (AT:PSALr), which rose 4.46% or 0.014 points to trade at 0.328 at the close. Meanwhile, Athens Medical (AT:AMCr) added 4.17% or 0.060 points to end at 1.500 and Athens Water (AT:EYDr) was up 3.17% or 0.19 points to 6.19 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Revoil Petrol (AT:REVr), which fell 12.16% or 0.076 points to trade at 0.549 at the close. Centric Hold (AT:DESr) declined 5.99% or 0.010 points to end at 0.157 and Flexopack SA (AT:FLXr) was down 4.26% or 0.2000 points to 4.5000.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 64 to 42 and 9 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.85% or 11.31 to $1341.71 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 3.19% or 1.51 to hit $48.80 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract rose 2.18% or 1.14 to trade at $53.48 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.15% to 1.1914, while EUR/GBP fell 0.57% to 0.9150.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.32% at 92.27.
