Investing.com – Greece stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Construction, Travel and Banking sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite added 0.02%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Intralot (AT:INLr), which rose 3.09% or 0.04 points to trade at 1.27 at the close. Meanwhile, Public Power (AT:DEHr) added 2.72% or 0.31 points to end at 11.71 and Greek Organisation of Football Prognostics SA (AT:OPAr) was up 2.67% or 0.40 points to 15.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were National Bank of Greece SA (AT:NBGr), which fell 1.62% or 0.13 points to trade at 7.89 at the close. Petros Petropoulos SA (AT:PTRr) declined 1.37% or 0.12 points to end at 8.64 and Autohellas (AT:AUTr) was down 1.34% or 0.16 points to 11.76.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 63 to 57 and 19 ended unchanged.
Shares in Intralot (AT:INLr) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 3.09% or 0.04 to 1.27.
Gold Futures for August delivery was up 0.07% or 1.55 to $2,365.05 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in August fell 0.06% or 0.05 to hit $82.28 a barrel, while the September Brent oil contract fell 0.17% or 0.15 to trade at $85.60 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.05% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.02% to 0.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 104.81.
