Investing.com - Officials raided Google (NASDAQ:GOOGL)'s Madrid offices Thursday in a tax-related probe, Reuters reported.
Google’s headquarters in France were also searched a month ago on suspicion of tax evasion.
Google said it complies with fiscal legislation in Spain as in all countries where it operates.
It said it was working with authorities to answer all questions.
Google pays little tax in most of Europe because it reports almost all sales in Ireland.
