Ford (NYSE:F) announced Thursday, along side sustainable passenger specialist, Quantron AG, that the two companies have signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) to evaluate Quantron’s technology for integration into Ford Trucks.
In the initial stage of the partnership with Ford Trucks, Quantron guarantees a smooth integration of Ford's cutting-edge trucks, which will be constructed to adhere to the latest safety standards starting in the first quarter of 2024.
The collaboration between Ford Trucks and Quantron represents extensive expertise in incorporating zero-emission drivetrain solutions into commercial vehicles. With a track record of over 200 deliveries, all boasting zero emissions, Quantron has primarily focused on battery-electric vehicles, but has also gained expertise in fuel cell electric vehicles.

Shares of F are up 2.07% in afternoon trading on Thursday.
