Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher in Asian trading hours on Friday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for July delivery traded at USD84.63 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.86%.
It earlier traded at a session high USD84.69 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD81.11 and resistance at USD86.50.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.04% to trade at USD82.15.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for August delivery rose 0.09% to trade at USD97.91 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts standing at USD13.28 a barrel.
