Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Utilities, Telecoms and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 2.42% to hit a new 6-months low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which fell 0.47% or 0.02 points to trade at 3.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordea Bank Abp (HE:NDAFI) fell 0.97% or 0.10 points to end at 10.16 and Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB) was down 1.15% or 0.07 points to 6.04 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fortum Oyj (HE:FORTUM), which fell 4.75% or 0.68 points to trade at 13.63 at the close. Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:TYRES) declined 4.25% or 0.35 points to end at 7.79 and Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) was down 3.65% or 2.20 points to 58.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 172 to 13 and 4 ended unchanged.
Shares in Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) fell to 3-years lows; losing 0.47% or 0.02 to 3.20. Shares in Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB) fell to 3-years lows; losing 1.15% or 0.07 to 6.04.
Brent oil for October delivery was down 0.47% or 0.36 to $76.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 0.60% or 0.44 to hit $73.08 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.08% or 26.70 to trade at $2,443.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.44% to 1.10, while EUR/GBP rose 0.64% to 0.86.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.48% at 102.50.
