Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 2.11% to hit a new 6-months low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS), which rose 2.72% or 0.90 points to trade at 33.95 at the close. Meanwhile, Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:NRE1V) added 0.18% or 0.06 points to end at 32.68 and YIT Oyj (HE:YIT) was down 0.09% or 0.01 points to 5.47 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Valmt (HE:VALMT), which fell 4.64% or 0.91 points to trade at 18.70 at the close. Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) declined 4.54% or 0.2160 points to end at 4.5390 and Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) was down 4.13% or 0.209 points to 4.849.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 147 to 12 and 8 ended unchanged.
Shares in Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) fell to 52-week lows; losing 4.54% or 0.2160 to 4.5390. Shares in Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) fell to 52-week lows; down 4.13% or 0.209 to 4.849.
Brent oil for December delivery was down 2.14% or 1.78 to $81.31 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 1.98% or 1.45 to hit $71.72 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 2.48% or 29.60 to trade at $1223.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.48% to 1.1577, while EUR/GBP rose 0.41% to 0.8769.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.39% at 94.85.
