Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Utilities and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 2.03%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV), which fell 0.64% or 0.17 points to trade at 26.38 at the close. Meanwhile, Elisa Oyj (HE:ELISA) fell 0.97% or 0.34 points to end at 34.82 and Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:NRE1V) was down 0.92% or 0.34 points to 36.55 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA), which fell 3.95% or 1.41 points to trade at 34.33 at the close. Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) declined 3.97% or 0.2660 points to end at 6.4320 and Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) was down 3.50% or 0.278 points to 7.666.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 121 to 27 and 11 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for May delivery was up 0.44% or 0.28 to $64.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in April rose 0.16% or 0.10 to hit $61.09 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.20% or 15.60 to trade at $1320.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.35% to 1.2307, while EUR/GBP rose 0.44% to 0.8943.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.20% at 90.04.
