Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Technology, Oil & Gas and Utilities sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 1.29%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB), which rose 0.88% or 0.075 points to trade at 8.555 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordea Bank AB FDR (HE:NDA1V) added 0.44% or 0.040 points to end at 9.225 and Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:NRE1V) was up 0.31% or 0.11 points to 35.35 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA), which fell 2.96% or 0.141 points to trade at 4.627 at the close. Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) declined 2.89% or 0.1420 points to end at 4.7660 and DNA Oyj (HE:DNAO) was down 2.25% or 0.4100 points to 17.7900.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 112 to 34 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) fell to 52-week lows; losing 2.89% or 0.1420 to 4.7660.
Brent oil for November delivery was down 0.97% or 0.76 to $77.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 1.25% or 0.87 to hit $69.00 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.27% or 3.20 to trade at $1202.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.35% to 1.1623, while EUR/GBP fell 0.10% to 0.9002.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 95.12.
