Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Technology, Basic Materials and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 1.12%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Fortum Oyj (HE:FORTUM), which rose 0.64% or 0.09 points to trade at 14.17 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordea Bank Abp (HE:NDAFI) added 0.47% or 0.05 points to end at 10.72 and Elisa Oyj (HE:ELISA) was up 0.38% or 0.18 points to 47.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were TietoEVRY Corp (HE:TIETO), which fell 8.18% or 1.59 points to trade at 17.84 at the close. Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) declined 4.46% or 0.51 points to end at 10.81 and Metso Oyj (HE:METSO) was down 3.23% or 0.29 points to 8.64.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 106 to 55 and 27 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for November delivery was down 0.51% or 0.38 to $74.50 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 0.22% or 0.16 to hit $71.00 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.29% or 33.75 to trade at $2,648.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.02% to 1.12, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.19% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 100.48.
