Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Basic Materials, Technology and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.99% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V), which rose 1.40% or 0.10 points to trade at 7.26 at the close. Meanwhile, Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE) added 1.35% or 0.48 points to end at 36.14 and Nordea Bank AB FDR (HE:NDA1V) was up 0.27% or 0.030 points to 11.100 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV), which fell 3.32% or 1.70 points to trade at 49.55 at the close. Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) declined 3.00% or 0.67 points to end at 21.69 and Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB) was down 2.26% or 0.125 points to 5.415.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 92 to 49 and 13 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for November delivery was down 0.23% or 0.12 to $51.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 1.35% or 0.63 to hit $45.94 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.33% or 4.36 to trade at $1319.66 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.33% to 1.2018, while EUR/GBP rose 0.35% to 0.9294.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.23% at 91.96.
