Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Consumer Goods and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.96%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were YIT Oyj (HE:YIT), which rose 3.46% or 0.22 points to trade at 6.73 at the close. Meanwhile, Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) added 3.34% or 0.230 points to end at 7.106 and Fortum Oyj (HE:FORTUM) was up 1.96% or 0.34 points to 17.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:NRE1V), which fell 7.01% or 2.87 points to trade at 38.08 at the close. Kesko Oyj (HE:KESKOB) declined 6.36% or 3.16 points to end at 46.49 and Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) was down 3.50% or 0.2400 points to 6.6140.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 98 to 40 and 16 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for April delivery was down 1.65% or 1.15 to $68.50 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in March fell 0.97% or 0.64 to hit $65.16 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.72% or 9.70 to trade at $1338.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.38% to 1.2466, while EUR/GBP rose 0.39% to 0.8804.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.52% at 88.94.
