Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Consumer Goods, Healthcare and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.89%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE), which rose 0.66% or 0.36 points to trade at 55.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) added 0.43% or 0.019 points to end at 4.419 and Kesko Oyj (HE:KESKOB) was up 0.13% or 0.06 points to 46.55 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Metso Oyj (HE:METSO), which fell 3.36% or 0.92 points to trade at 26.48 at the close. Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) declined 3.16% or 1.27 points to end at 38.90 and Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) was down 2.73% or 0.62 points to 22.05.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 123 to 25 and 10 ended unchanged.
Shares in Metso Oyj (HE:METSO) fell to 52-week lows; down 3.36% or 0.92 to 26.48.
Brent oil for April delivery was down 1.21% or 0.83 to $67.75 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in March fell 1.79% or 1.17 to hit $64.28 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.10% or 1.40 to trade at $1338.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.31% to 1.2418, while EUR/GBP rose 0.40% to 0.8857.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.34% at 89.34.
