Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Healthcare, Industrials and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.85%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE), which rose 2.48% or 1.20 points to trade at 49.64 at the close. Meanwhile, YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V) added 0.91% or 0.06 points to end at 6.64 and Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) was up 0.32% or 0.07 points to 21.61 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V), which fell 2.09% or 1.20 points to trade at 56.15 at the close. Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) declined 2.08% or 0.75 points to end at 35.35 and Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) was down 2.04% or 0.145 points to 6.955.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 84 to 61 and 11 ended unchanged.
Shares in Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE) rose to all time highs; gaining 2.48% or 1.20 to 49.64. Shares in Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) fell to 52-week lows; losing 2.08% or 0.75 to 35.35.
Brent oil for January delivery was up 0.18% or 0.11 to $60.24 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 0.24% or 0.13 to hit $54.03 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.46% or 5.87 to trade at $1277.67 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.22% to 1.1633, while EUR/GBP fell 0.29% to 0.8809.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 94.47.
