Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Technology and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.85%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Metso Oyj (HE:METSO), which rose 4.25% or 1.26 points to trade at 30.92 at the close. Meanwhile, Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) added 1.25% or 0.0640 points to end at 5.1860 and Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) was up 0.83% or 0.23 points to 27.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA), which fell 5.30% or 1.75 points to trade at 31.28 at the close. DNA Oyj (HE:DNAO) declined 2.70% or 0.5200 points to end at 18.7500 and KONE Oyj (HE:KNEBV) was down 1.81% or 0.81 points to 44.05.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 101 to 46 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) fell to 52-week lows; losing 5.30% or 1.75 to 31.28.
Brent oil for December delivery was up 0.02% or 0.02 to $85.00 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 0.11% or 0.08 to hit $75.22 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.47% or 17.50 to trade at $1209.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.16% to 1.1560, while EUR/GBP rose 0.26% to 0.8901.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 95.03.
