Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.84%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV), which rose 4.03% or 0.46 points to trade at 11.86 at the close. Meanwhile, Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) added 2.21% or 1.13 points to end at 52.32 and Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE) was up 0.48% or 0.08 points to 16.85 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were KONE Oyj (HE:KNEBV), which fell 2.74% or 1.48 points to trade at 52.50 at the close. Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) declined 1.76% or 0.06 points to end at 3.56 and Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V) was down 1.66% or 0.34 points to 20.18.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 105 to 46 and 34 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for December delivery was up 4.03% or 2.98 to $76.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 4.27% or 2.99 to hit $73.09 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.01% or 0.35 to trade at $2,669.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.27% to 1.10, while EUR/GBP rose 0.91% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.37% at 101.80.
