Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Utilities and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.77%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Kojamo (HE:KOJAMO), which rose 1.22% or 0.12 points to trade at 9.53 at the close. Meanwhile, Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE) added 0.91% or 0.12 points to end at 13.36 and Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V) was up 0.61% or 0.11 points to 17.45 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sampo Oyj A (HE:SAMPO), which fell 1.48% or 0.60 points to trade at 39.83 at the close. Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) declined 1.36% or 0.48 points to end at 34.88 and Valmet Oyj (HE:VALMT) was down 1.27% or 0.30 points to 23.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 123 to 48 and 17 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for February delivery was up 0.73% or 0.53 to $72.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in January rose 0.92% or 0.63 to hit $69.00 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.20% or 32.14 to trade at $2,717.94 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.37% to 1.05, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.41% to 0.82.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.35% at 106.19.
