Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Oil & Gas and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.77%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Fortum Oyj (HE:FORTUM), which rose 0.85% or 0.18 points to trade at 21.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) added 0.56% or 0.026 points to end at 4.653 and Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) was up 0.11% or 0.03 points to 27.77 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which fell 5.51% or 0.334 points to trade at 5.732 at the close. Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) declined 2.63% or 0.77 points to end at 28.53 and Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V) was down 2.53% or 0.43 points to 16.76.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 111 to 39 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) fell to 52-week lows; down 5.51% or 0.334 to 5.732. Shares in Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) fell to 52-week lows; down 2.63% or 0.77 to 28.53.
Brent oil for November delivery was down 1.86% or 1.44 to $75.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 2.30% or 1.58 to hit $67.14 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.21% or 2.50 to trade at $1203.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.10% to 1.1619, while EUR/GBP fell 0.37% to 0.8979.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 95.06.
