Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Industrials and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.74% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV), which rose 1.55% or 0.65 points to trade at 42.68 at the close. Meanwhile, Metso Oyj (HE:METSO) added 1.26% or 0.11 points to end at 9.01 and Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB) was up 0.58% or 0.02 points to 4.15 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV), which fell 3.29% or 1.76 points to trade at 51.78 at the close. Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V) declined 2.63% or 0.47 points to end at 17.19 and Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) was down 2.37% or 1.55 points to 63.75.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 120 to 45 and 22 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for February delivery was down 1.42% or 1.05 to $72.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in January fell 2.09% or 1.48 to hit $69.23 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.61% or 16.21 to trade at $2,653.79 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.05% to 1.05, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.31% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 106.56.
