Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Utilities, Industrials and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.72%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were DNA Oyj (HE:DNAO), which rose 0.27% or 0.0500 points to trade at 18.3300 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordea Bank AB FDR (HE:NDA1V) added 0.27% or 0.025 points to end at 9.275 and Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) was up 0.06% or 0.02 points to 31.67 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which fell 2.91% or 0.194 points to trade at 6.480 at the close. Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:NRE1V) declined 2.36% or 0.86 points to end at 35.55 and Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V) was down 1.68% or 0.31 points to 18.19.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 74 to 64 and 22 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for November delivery was down 0.28% or 0.22 to $77.80 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 0.48% or 0.34 to hit $69.91 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.02% or 0.20 to trade at $1205.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.67% to 1.1589, while EUR/GBP fell 0.23% to 0.8946.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.53% at 95.14.
