Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.68%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Qt Group Oyj (HE:QTCOM), which rose 1.38% or 1.15 points to trade at 84.65 at the close. Meanwhile, Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) added 1.35% or 0.17 points to end at 12.75 and UPM-Kymmene Oyj (HE:UPM) was up 0.85% or 0.28 points to 33.33 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Valmet Oyj (HE:VALMT), which fell 2.83% or 0.78 points to trade at 26.77 at the close. Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) declined 2.74% or 2.15 points to end at 76.35 and Metso Oyj (HE:METSO) was down 2.60% or 0.27 points to 10.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 101 to 62 and 27 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for September delivery was down 0.63% or 0.54 to $84.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in August fell 0.58% or 0.47 to hit $81.16 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.31% or 7.20 to trade at $2,337.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.26% to 1.07, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.18% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 105.35.
