Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Healthcare and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.65%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:NRE1V), which rose 2.50% or 0.87 points to trade at 35.65 at the close. Meanwhile, Fortum Oyj (HE:FORTUM) added 0.69% or 0.14 points to end at 20.44 and Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) was up 0.47% or 0.13 points to 28.05 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA), which fell 3.79% or 1.47 points to trade at 37.30 at the close. Metso Oyj (HE:METSO) declined 3.26% or 1.01 points to end at 29.99 and Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) was down 3.00% or 0.1660 points to 5.3740.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 94 to 53 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) rose to 52-week highs; up 0.47% or 0.13 to 28.05.
Brent oil for August delivery was down 3.33% or 2.53 to $73.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July fell 2.99% or 2.00 to hit $64.89 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 2.12% or 27.70 to trade at $1280.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.35% to 1.1608, while EUR/GBP rose 0.22% to 0.8742.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 94.79.
