Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Utilities sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.61% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS), which rose 1.47% or 0.32 points to trade at 22.14 at the close. Meanwhile, Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB) added 1.00% or 0.065 points to end at 6.585 and KONE Oyj (HE:KNEBV) was up 0.96% or 0.42 points to 44.32 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA), which fell 2.54% or 0.102 points to trade at 3.920 at the close. Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE) declined 2.31% or 1.20 points to end at 50.75 and Fortum Oyj (HE:FORTUM) was down 1.82% or 0.32 points to 17.24.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 110 to 43 and 7 ended unchanged.
Shares in Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) fell to 52-week lows; down 2.54% or 0.102 to 3.920.
Brent oil for February delivery was up 1.42% or 0.87 to $62.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in January rose 1.18% or 0.66 to hit $56.62 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.89% or 11.30 to trade at $1254.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.03% to 1.1791, while EUR/GBP fell 0.32% to 0.8779.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 93.63.
