Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Telecoms, Financials and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.60%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV), which rose 0.92% or 0.12 points to trade at 12.59 at the close. Meanwhile, Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) added 0.81% or 0.45 points to end at 55.70 and Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:TYRES) was up 0.79% or 0.06 points to 7.96 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA), which fell 2.51% or 0.09 points to trade at 3.53 at the close. Elisa Oyj (HE:ELISA) declined 2.47% or 1.08 points to end at 42.66 and Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) was down 1.62% or 0.06 points to 3.34.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 97 to 72 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) rose to all time highs; rising 0.81% or 0.45 to 55.70.
Brent oil for September delivery was down 1.03% or 0.87 to $83.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 1.13% or 0.91 to hit $79.93 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.62% or 39.35 to trade at $2,468.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.08% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.00% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 104.08.
