Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Technology, Utilities and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.55% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Kesko Oyj (HE:KESKOB), which rose 1.08% or 0.46 points to trade at 42.94 at the close. Meanwhile, Tieto Oyj (HE:TIE1V) added 0.95% or 0.25 points to end at 26.45 and Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE) was up 0.60% or 0.29 points to 48.69 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which fell 2.12% or 0.1600 points to trade at 7.3900 at the close. Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) declined 1.87% or 0.078 points to end at 4.102 and YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V) was down 1.77% or 0.11 points to 6.11.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 79 to 66 and 11 ended unchanged.
Shares in YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V) fell to 52-week lows; down 1.77% or 0.11 to 6.11.
Brent oil for January delivery was down 1.95% or 1.23 to $61.93 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 2.11% or 1.20 to hit $55.56 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.03% or 0.40 to trade at $1279.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.87% to 1.1768, while EUR/GBP rose 0.64% to 0.8953.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.53% at 93.90.
