Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Basic Materials, Healthcare and Utilities sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.54% to hit a new 6-months low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which rose 1.28% or 0.062 points to trade at 4.915 at the close. Meanwhile, Telia Company AB (HE:TELIA1) added 0.97% or 0.038 points to end at 3.939 and Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) was up 0.32% or 0.11 points to 34.66 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Valmt (HE:VALMT), which fell 2.85% or 0.53 points to trade at 18.07 at the close. YIT Oyj (HE:YIT) declined 2.59% or 0.14 points to end at 5.26 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) was down 1.98% or 0.275 points to 13.630.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 92 to 55 and 15 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for December delivery was down 0.11% or 0.09 to $79.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 0.03% or 0.02 to hit $69.14 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.11% or 1.30 to trade at $1225.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.41% to 1.1467, while EUR/GBP rose 0.31% to 0.8844.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.34% at 95.77.
