Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Telecoms and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.50%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Kojamo (HE:KOJAMO), which rose 4.26% or 0.42 points to trade at 10.29 at the close. Meanwhile, Fortum Oyj (HE:FORTUM) added 1.20% or 0.17 points to end at 14.39 and TietoEVRY Corp (HE:TIETO) was up 0.76% or 0.14 points to 18.64 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:TYRES), which fell 2.00% or 0.17 points to trade at 8.32 at the close. Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE) declined 1.66% or 0.30 points to end at 17.75 and Metso Oyj (HE:METSO) was down 1.43% or 0.12 points to 8.30.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 98 to 73 and 19 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for November delivery was down 4.04% or 2.90 to $68.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 4.63% or 3.18 to hit $65.53 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.28% or 7.00 to trade at $2,539.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.10% to 1.10, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.00% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 101.63.
