Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Industrials, Oil & Gas and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.49% to hit a new 52-week low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Elisa Oyj (HE:ELISA), which rose 2.22% or 0.77 points to trade at 35.42 at the close. Meanwhile, Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) added 0.81% or 0.090 points to end at 11.255 and Fortum Oyj (HE:FORTUM) was up 0.63% or 0.12 points to 18.41 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which fell 3.34% or 0.115 points to trade at 3.325 at the close. Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) declined 3.13% or 1.10 points to end at 34.00 and Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) was down 2.68% or 0.1010 points to 3.6740.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 81 to 65 and 19 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for February delivery was down 0.35% or 0.21 to $59.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in January fell 0.23% or 0.12 to hit $51.33 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.25% or 3.10 to trade at $1227.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.62% to 1.1322, while EUR/GBP fell 0.47% to 0.8868.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.41% at 97.097.
