Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Consumer Goods, Healthcare and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.47% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE), which rose 0.79% or 0.38 points to trade at 48.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Elisa Oyj (HE:ELISA) added 0.53% or 0.18 points to end at 34.22 and UPM-Kymmene Oyj (HE:UPM) was up 0.43% or 0.11 points to 25.65 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which fell 2.78% or 0.190 points to trade at 6.640 at the close. Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) declined 2.54% or 0.53 points to end at 20.34 and Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) was down 2.35% or 0.90 points to 37.43.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 99 to 50 and 9 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for January delivery was down 0.44% or 0.28 to $63.24 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 0.21% or 0.12 to hit $56.86 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.39% or 4.95 to trade at $1279.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.06% to 1.1660, while EUR/GBP rose 0.64% to 0.8899.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 94.45.
