Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Technology, Telecoms and Utilities sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.46%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V), which rose 2.16% or 0.14 points to trade at 6.38 at the close. Meanwhile, Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) added 0.79% or 0.24 points to end at 30.57 and Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) was up 0.40% or 0.0300 points to 7.5900 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA), which fell 1.50% or 0.060 points to trade at 3.938 at the close. Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) declined 1.16% or 0.56 points to end at 47.76 and Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) was down 1.13% or 0.44 points to 38.58.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 78 to 71 and 12 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for March delivery was down 0.15% or 0.10 to $65.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in February unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $59.64 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.40% or 5.20 to trade at $1296.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.48% to 1.1953, while EUR/GBP rose 0.10% to 0.8886.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.39% at 92.30.
