Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Utilities and Basic Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.45%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:NRE1V), which rose 2.16% or 0.60 points to trade at 28.38 at the close. Meanwhile, Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) added 1.79% or 0.56 points to end at 31.77 and Metso Oyj (HE:METSO) was up 1.11% or 0.27 points to 24.58 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which fell 2.70% or 0.100 points to trade at 3.609 at the close. KONE Oyj (HE:KNEBV) declined 2.24% or 0.97 points to end at 42.34 and Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB) was down 2.20% or 0.125 points to 5.545.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 90 to 62 and 17 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for March delivery was down 0.89% or 0.54 to $59.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in February fell 0.60% or 0.31 to hit $51.28 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.10% or 1.35 to trade at $1290.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.10% to 1.1478, while EUR/GBP fell 0.22% to 0.8906.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 95.130.
